Heritage in Schools
On the 18th of September a zoologist called Mairead Stack came to visit our class. She spoke to us about biodiversity. First we looked at a PowerPoint on the white board. We saw a map of Goatstown which showed what the area looked like about two hundred years ago. It was very rural. Then we got our clipboards and went outside and did a nature trail. We had some yummy blackberries. We examined the trees for chlorophyll and studied various habitats. We had great fun.
